We would like to introduce and welcome the newest member of our team, Megan Albanese, as the STEPS Administrative Assistant! Megan is a Southington resident and comes to us with her talent, passion, and expertise!  We are excited to have her work with us and will absolutely be an asset. Stop in sometime soon to say hello! 

Thank You & Goodbye to Meredith Fenwick

Our friend, Meredith Fenwick, has been the STEPS Administrative Assistant for the past three years and has taken on a full time position at ESPN.

Meredith has been a wonderful addition to our team and we will miss seeing her everyday.  Although she won't be in the office, she is staying on as a co-leader of the STEPS Youth Committee as one of our volunteers.

We thank you Meredith for your time, dedication and passion to our work in the Southington Community.  Best wishes on your new adventure!!



Youth Council Posts 'Please No Smoking or Vaping' Signs at Apple Harvest

For their fourth year, the STEPS Youth Council went out to the Apple Harvest Festival prior to the start and hung signs around the common areas asking people to keep the festival smoke and vape free.

The STEPS Youth Council are asking our community to set the example for our youth by being a safe and positive role model.

Kelly Leppard, Youth Prevention Coordinator, Becomes Certified Prevention Specialist

Recently, our Youth Prevention Coordinator, Kelly Leppard sat for and passed her International Certified Prevention Specialist Exam.  At the STEPS Advisory Board meeting on Monday, Kristen Guida, Board President, presented Kelly with her certificate.  We are very proud of Kelly's accomplishment and her hard work preparing for the exam.

A Message From Our Incoming President
