Where do we stand as a community

In order to develop healthy and successful youth, we first need to see where we stand as a community and figure out what “level of readiness” we are at. Community Readiness is a prevention concept that reflects a community’s understanding of substance use and abuse prevention issues; the community’s acknowledgement that these issues are problems for their community; and the support for community action to solve or minimize the negative impacts of these problems.
